Energy Levels

Sometimes, unknowingly, we do things that bring negative energy into our homes or offices. Here are simple remedies based on Vaastu Shastra to fix such issues and restore harmony:

Vaastu Dosh

Vaastu is an ancient Indian system of architecture, meaning “the science of architecture.” It originates from the Vedas and is believed to be over 10,000 years old. Indian yogis, through deep meditation and penance, received knowledge from the cosmic mind and included it in the Vedas. The principles of Vaastu are mentioned in the “SATPATYA VEDA,” which is part of the Atharva Veda. References to Vaastu can also be found in Indian epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, which describe the art of building houses, temples, palaces, and cities. Historical evidence of Vaastu can be seen in the ancient cities of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, which are around 2,500–3,000 years old. Indian mythology also contains many stories about the origin of the Vastupurush.

Vaastu Shastra consists of ancient Sanskrit texts that provide guidelines for architecture. Any deviation from these principles in building design or object placement is called a “Vaastu Dosh,” which means a “fault” or imbalance in the energy of a house. A house with proper Vaastu alignment is believed to bring health, wealth, harmony, and success, while Vaastu Dosh can lead to various issues.

Vaastu Remedies

Bare Walls
Place a picture or statue of Lord Ganesha on bare walls, especially the ones you see when entering the house. Bare walls symbolize loneliness, and Lord Ganesha’s presence brings positivity.
Use a Swastika Yantra to boost the energy levels in your home or office. However, consult an expert to ensure it’s used correctly.
If a river or drain near your property flows in an anti-clockwise direction (other than northeast), place a west-facing statue of dancing Ganesha in the northeast corner.

Toilets should be in the northwest or west direction. Toilets in the eastern corner can lead to health problems and should be avoided.

Avoid beds with storage boxes, as they block air circulation and can affect health. Use a bed with four legs instead.

If the boring is in the wrong direction, place a picture of Panchmukhi Hanumanji facing southwest near the boring to neutralize negative effects.

Avoid hanging pictures of war, crying women, anger, sexy scenes, or animals like eagles or owls. Replace them with positive and uplifting images.

Keep heavy items like grinders, shelves, and refrigerators on the west or south walls of the kitchen.

Doors should open inwards. If yours open outward, replace them with inward-opening doors.
